COMPANY HISTORY

Bodeville was founded in 2022 by a pair of tech-industry veterans, Alexia Mandeville and Bo Boghosian. Both founders bring experience from massive online games including Niantic's Peridot, Pokemon GO, and Meta's Horizon.

The company intends to release their first games in 2023.

NIANTIC VETERANS FORM INDEPENDENT GAME STUDIO

Bodeville, a new self-funded game studio is being spun up to focus on narrative games and short-form indie experiences.

Both founders are bringing experience from massive online games including Niantic's Peridot, Pokemon Go, and Meta's Horizon. The studio is being founded by Alexia Mandeville, known for leading the design on a new IP Peridot at Niantic and designing VR experiences at Oculus, and Bo Boghosian, former engineering lead on Peridot and key developer on Pokemon GO, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Niantic's Real World Platform.

The studio's mission is to create beautiful worlds, stories, and characters, and to always be fair to players.

The team is working on two original narrative games that are expected to ship in 2023.
